Technology and dogs

I am a scientist that loves to explore new technology but I also really, really love dogs. I started to learn how to 3D print over 14 years ago because of the dog pictured above. Her name was Cindy. She was not my first dog but she changed my life. Our first dog, Bear, was a Bichon Frise. He was great but he had really bad separation anxiety. We rescued Cindy from a Westie rescue group just North of Kansas City. She was a very independent dog who knew how to survive in the wild. She also knew how to love. We lost here way too early to kidney disease and brain tumor. I never knew that kidney disease was a death sentence for dogs. I dreamed of helping her by making a kidney for her using 3D printing using here own cells. I have dedicated my life see this through. I want everyone to know the joy of having a dog. Making things for people to enjoy their dogs only makes me happy. They are four legged angels.
